These barcodes are not directly issued by GS1 India and are not GS1 India membership barcodes.
GS1 India is the official and authorised body for issuing barcodes with the 890 prefix (India-specific GTINs) in India. Only GS1 India can issue 890-prefixed barcodes, and purchasing from Planet Retail does not involve GS1 India membership or 890-prefix barcode issuance.
